Once again the Polish Community of South Boston is hosting their annual Harvest Festival. The Festival will take place next SUNDAY, September 16,, 2018 and is bringing together the local community of what has been officially sanctioned by the City of Boston to be known as THE POLISH TRIANGLE.
On a map the Polish Triangle is that area of South Boston and Dorchester that runs from Andrew Square along both sides of Boston Street and Dorchester Avenue all the way up to Columbia Road.
The Festival will start with the celebration of the Holy Mass at 10.00 a.m.- Polish/English at 655 Dorchester Ave, South Boston, MA)
After that there will be colorful procession to the “Harvest Festival venue” which is the parish parking lot.
After the official opening the festivities will begin and will feature the following:
TRADITIONAL POLISH FOOD – DELICIOUS PASTRIES
PONY RIDES – FACE PAINTING – MUSIC AND DANCING
CHILDREN’S ACTIVITIES – VARIOUS PERFORMANCES .
PRIZE RAFFLES – PRESENTATION BOOTHS AND MORE
The Boston Polish Harvest Festival is a much loved and well attended with lots of enjoyment up until closing time at 6:00 p.m.
