Menino Arts Center Hosts Curry College and The Body Landscape Exhibitions from Jan 28 – Mar 1, 2020

The Menino Arts Center proudly announces two upcoming exhibitions:-       “Curry College Senior Art Exhibition”-       “The Body Landscape” exhibition by 17 Boston area artists The exhibitions will run from January 28 – March 1, 2020, with an artists’ reception on Saturday, February 8, from 3 – 5:30 pm. The exhibitions and reception are free and open to the public at the Menino Arts Center, 26 Central Avenue, 2nd floor, Hyde Park, MA 02136.  Normal gallery hours are Wednesdays, 10 – 2 pm; Thursdays from 10 – 2 pm; Fridays from 10 – 4 pm; during scheduled workshops and events; and by appointment.  Both exhibitions are curated by Sasja Lucas.  www.sasjalucas.com “Curry College Senior Art” is the 3rd annual exhibit featuring Curry College’s Senior Studio and Design Majors. The nine students in the exhibit will be showing recent work in a variety of media, including paintings, collage, digital art, and photography. This exhibit was juried by Robert Siegelman, who works primarily in drawing and photography.  He has exhibited and published internationally, and he teaches at the Museum School of Fine Arts. The Menino Arts Center serves the neighborhood of Hyde Park, greater Boston and its suburban counterparts.
