Ready for an afternoon of music, dancing, and more? 

  Join the Greater Boston Irish-American community to celebrate the 11th Annual Irish Hearts Benefit Dance on behalf of NPH USA! This worthy event takes place on Sunday, April 19, 2020 at the Boston Marriott Quincy Hotel located at 1000 Marriott Drive in Quincy, MA. 

  This is a Sunday afternoon event which begins at 1:30 with Set Dancing to 2:45 p.m. followed by the Pr4ogram, Dancing & Silent Auction from 3 to 6 p.m.

OUR LITTLE BROTHERS AND SISTERS

  Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos (NPH, Spanish for “Our Little Brothers and Sisters”) is currently raising nearly 3,100 disadvantaged boys and girls in Bolivia, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua and Peru. 

  An additional 3,100 children who live outside the homes receive scholarships, meals and healthcare (to learn more visit their website  at nphusa.org).

  Bill Cummings grew up poor, but through a series of highly successful business ventures, became one of the wealthiest individuals—and most prolific philanthropists—in Massachusetts. This founder of suburban-Boston commercial real estate firm Cummings Properties was on Forbes Magazine’s 2018 list of “America’s Top 50 Givers.”

  The suggested donation is $20 per person but with a $30 donation you will receive a signed copy of the Mr. Cummings’ book Starting Small and Making it Big; An Entrepreneur’s Journey to Billion-Dollar Philanthropist which will be available for pick-up at registration. 

  NPH USA has a Mid-Atlantic Northeast Region Office located  at 265 Willard Street, Quincy, MA 02169-1565Third Floor. 

  The Event Committee Co-Chairs include Winnie Henry, Deacon Charlie & Barbara Sullivan, Gerry McGrath and Patricia Mikus.

  Elizabeth Caletka is the Development Manager at this location. NPH has a long relationship with many colleges throughout the USA who send student volunteers to the various orphanages. Recently students from Boston College High School helped out at an NPH home as reported in the Pilot newspaper, the official newspaper of the Archdiocese of Boston.  

  NPH is especially helped by students from many of America’s Catholic colleges including Notre Dame and St. Anselm’s just to name a couple. Many doctors and nurses volunteer their services also and perform many medical operations.
