Watertown, MA — On Wednesday, Congressman Joe Kennedy III earned the endorsement of Pipefitters Local 537, adding to his list of growing support among labor organizations in Massachusetts.
“Joe Kennedy has always been a voice for unions,” said Tom Kerr of Pipefitters Local 537. “As Congressman, he ensured that workers had a seat at the bargaining table and that hard-working men and women could provide for their families. Pipefitters Local 537 is confident he will do the same as our Senator from Massachusetts and we are proud to endorse him in this race.”
“I am proud to have the support of Pipefitters Local 537,” said Congressman Joe Kennedy. “Today, it is harder and harder to find middle class jobs that provide a middle class lifestyle. Unions ensure that workers are given a shot. I have been proud to fight for unions my entire career and I will continue to be a voice for workers across the state.”
With his strong record on issues of workers rights and economic justice, Kennedy has secured the majority of labor endorsements in the U.S. Senate race so far, including
