Excited to kick off our 2024 Dorchester Photorama selections with this photo of the Metropolitan Company manufacturers of cabinets and countertops who recently opened their 5th location here in Dorchester at 1175 Dorchester Avenue which is between Freeport Street and Savin Hill Avenue.
Pictured outside the Dorchester showroom is Peter Laufer, the Vice President of this outstanding family owned enterprise which began in 1984 in Norwood where all the cabinets are produced at their factory facility. “We’re a third generation, family owned business,” he told me.
Metropolitan has put their faith and trust in the future of Dorchester as an outstanding location for their enterprise.
